A and K

I know there are a lot but I just loved so many! I had such a great learning experience at this wedding and was enlightened on how to better use my camera!

More Amanda and Kyle

I can't describe how wonderful this wedding was! It was simple and beautiful! I absolutley love the stain glass windows!

Amanda and Kyle

My first Wedding!!! It was so much more work than I expected and I was exhausted by the end of the night. By the next day I felt refreshed and was so excited to see how they all turned out. Here are a few of my favorites!

Its never too late

We were in the most remote and beautiful place way up in the mountains and were able to get some gorgeous pictures before the sun went down! It was absolutely amazing and I was so excited!

Its never too late.....

I had an amazing time taking pictures of Melanie this past week! As much as she hates having her picture taken it was so much fun! I think these pictures turned out amazing because Melanie is so beautiful as well as the landscape that we were able to enjoy!

More of the happy couple

We went to some amazing places on Saturday! It was beautiful outside and perfect weather for taking pictures. I was able to learn a lot about how to use my camera in the light. With more practice I will be able to make better judgments and know more accurately how to set my camera. I just absolutely enjoy capturing special moments and editing photos to bring out those feelings.

The happy couple

I had the amazing opportunity to tag along with Erin and Chantal to take pictures! This couple was wonderful! They had three people following them around taking pictures of them and they managed to have great time. I really enjoyed capturing their happiness and intense connection. I hope to be ale to accompany Erin on many more occasions as well as beginning to practice on my own.

Outside

Clark and I have been spending our afternoons outside or as Clark says "out-di"!  He is an amazing joy! He is great to take photos of because he doesn't realize what I am doing!

His smile makes it all worth it!!

a new perspective

Sometimes an uncomfortable experience helps you to grow and realize things about yourself you didn't know. Taking photos of my mom, felt so refreshing...the ability to be creative and being forced to think of things outside of school was sublime. To be able to find unique aspects of nature and man-made was incredible. Once you find that one angle, unique in form and feature and capture it with a single click was satisfying a deep need you didn't even know was there.

It's like creating perfection. In the pictures, I was able to see a side of my mom that was real. And that reality is something I want to continue to capture.

I'll post photos this weekend.
